Liam Deasy and David McCarthy, Clonakilty Renewable Energy Centre, Munster's first Renewable Energy Centre which will officially open to the public this May Bank Holiday Weekend in The Curragh, Clonakilty.
The centre will comprise of fifteen energy entrepreneurs who have fused their expertise to offer customers a one stop shop for home and business energy needs and will also create 20 new jobs in the first two years of business.
Businesses within the centre range from heat recovery ventilation systems to energy efficient timber frame homes, water harvesting, domestic wind turbines, solar panels and security systems. More then E100,000 has been invested in the centre which will expand to offer tailor made training courses and information events on the importance and sustainability of renewable energy.
