The Festival will include a Medieval Village, with archery, jousting knights on horseback, medieval sports for kids and a display by the Fingal Living History Society. The battlegrounds from the not so distant past will be re-enacted by the Munster Vehicle re-enactment group. This promises to be a great spectacle with a real live WW2 battle, complete with explosives and machine gun fire.

There will also be a food and craft market offering a variety of local food specialties, as well as arts and crafts for sale. The sporting side of country life will be presented with falconry, clay pigeon shooting and gun dog training exhibitions. All creatures great and small will feature at the Fair from small farm animals to champion bulls, along with alpacaâs and donkeys from the donkey sanctuary. There will be Irish dancing and live music performances throughout the Festival and the entertainment for children will include pony rides, puppeteers, face painting, kiddies’ rides, bouncing castles and a fun fair.
